Lyman Elementary had a great STEM Family Night yesterday. We will be dropping the egg drop containers off the roof on Monday instead of today due to wet conditions on roof. A huge shout out to Mr. Marines and Mr. Moore for putting on this great event. If your child did not make an egg drop container they can do so over the weekend and bring it in for Monday (must have an egg in it)

May Menus for RSU 57 Elementary Schools!

Lyman Elementary 5th graders Dominic Thyng, Isaiah Mendes, Grant Lapiana, Hayden Swindler and Trey Jones all participated in their monthly cooking session! They cooked breakfast burritos and swiftly devoured them.

Lyman Elementary Pre K students have been learning about attributes and collections. Students created a museum of their own collections and shared them with students and staff around the building. They were able to talk about the attributes of their collection and what made them different than others. GREAT JOB!

Lyman Elementary Kindergarten students in Miss Sundik's class have been learning about building and construction around the world as a part our K for ME program.

Lyman Elementary students had the opportunity to tap trees and make maple syrup during PE class with Mr. Penley over the last few weeks. The students had a great time out in our woods.

Each summer our Lyman Elementary School and students participate in a summer reading program put on by the Free Masons called Read to Ride. We select two school-wide winners whose names are sent in to the state drawing. This year our very own Ryker Gendron won a bike. He recently was able to go to the store and pick out the bike he wanted. The smile tells it all! We are so proud of his efforts this past summer!
