WATERBORO, ME - RSU 57 is delighted to introduce Dr. Amanda Doyle as the new Assistant Superintendent of Schools for RSU 57. Dr. Doyle will replace Mr. Kyle Keenan, who has served as RSU 57’s Assistant Superintendent during the 22-23 and 23-24 school year. 

Dr. Doyle comes to us with a wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to educational excellence; most recently serving as the principal of Sanford High School, where she made significant strides in enhancing academic programs and fostering a supportive learning environment. Prior to her tenure as principal, Dr. Doyle held positions as the Assistant Principal at Sanford High School, Assistant Head for Faculty and Academic Affairs, and Director of Instruction at Thornton Academy. With 15 years of experience in education, Dr. Doyle brings a deep understanding of school administration, curriculum development, and student-centered leadership.

Dr. Doyle's educational journey includes earning a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English from the University of Southern Maine, a Master's of Sciences in Teaching and Learning, also from the University of Southern Maine, and an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of New England. Her academic achievements reflect her dedication to continuous learning and her passion for educational leadership.

In her new role as Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Doyle will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our district. She will collaborate with stakeholders to advance our mission of providing a high-quality education for all students, preparing them for success in an ever-changing world.
